Outdoor statues A tutorial

Cast Stone Statues and Efflorescence Though metal statues or those made of wood have their own appeal, most outdoor statues are made of stone. Stone statues last longer when compared with statues composed of other raw materials, and they also retain their merit even on aging. For example, statues made from cast stone undergo a natural aging process, termed efflorescence. Stone statues typically go through a chemical reaction on exposure to the climatic conditions, changes in humidity and wind speeds, and also via seeping ground water. Statues that have a patina finish add a certain touch to an period themed garden, and this is also gained by the aging process that stone statues undergo.
